Hi, I’m Sai, a photographer, videographer, and private tour guide based in Tokyo.
Born and raised in Tokyo, I studied abroad for one year in the small coastal town of Victor Harbor, South Australia.
Although I couldn’t speak much English at the time, the kindness and hospitality of the local community made a lasting impression on me. That experience changed the way I see travel—not just as visiting places, but as connecting with people.
After returning to Japan, I wanted to become the person who welcomes others. While I was at university, I started my own private tour business to introduce visitors to a more local and authentic side of Tokyo.
Since then, I’ve had the privilege of guiding hundreds of guests from around the world.
As tourism continues to grow, I’m also committed to promoting responsible travel—sharing local neighborhoods while respecting the communities and helping preserve what makes them special.
Photography naturally became part of that journey. What started as taking photos for my guests grew into a professional career behind the camera.
